Experience Overview

Through my experience assisting with live audio production for church services and events, I gained hands-on experience in sound mixing, microphone management, recording, and livestream audio support. I worked directly with a digital mixing board to balance vocals and instruments, including bass and acoustic guitar, while making real-time adjustments to create a clear and cohesive sound for both in-person and online audiences.

Skills & Growth

Working in a live production environment showed me the importance of preparation, adaptability, and experience when making technical decisions in real time. I learned that production is not just about understanding equipment, but about knowing how to respond, adjust, and stay confident in a fast-paced environment. This experience strengthened my interest in music technology by showing me how the decisions made behind the scenes can shape the way an audience experiences sound.

Special Note: The video below is an example of a church service that I assisted with audio engineering. During our weekly live streams, I am responsible for monitoring the guitar, bass, and microphones. When audio levels need to be adjusted, I work with the team to make the necessary adjustments in real-time.
